Chapter 19

Louisa

“I mean, is my hand meant to ache, or is there some exercise I can do to combat that?” I am telling Fallon all about what happened with Hunter last night. Since I am not experienced with this sex business, I like to ask all questions I know Fallon will have the answers to.

“Fuck no,” she says, screwing up another piece of paper and throwing it into the trash can nearby. “It aches like a bitch, but you drive through it like a trooper and beg to fuck he cums before you give in.”

I flick the page over on my study book, Fallon and I are studying on the table benches in the park near college. A lot of students come here when the weather is nice, it’s peaceful, and being surrounded by wildlife hiding in the trees gives me a sense of serenity. Although, Fallon’s Marilyn Manson music is giving me a headache and I can only hear it slightly coming from her headphones. How can she study and listen to that kind of music? Today her hair is pink, but I am not sure if she’s dyed it or she’s wearing a wig. They look so real.

“Anyway, I have a class in…” she checks her phone for the time. “Oh, now. See ya later.”

I wave her off, place my sunglasses back over my eyes and get stuck in. Around ten minutes’ pass, and I hear music coming from somewhere else. I groan, hating it when students bring their small music pills or whatever they’re called to the park. The music gets closer, so I whip off my sunglasses and turn around to see who’s disturbing me. Of course, I wouldn’t argue or yell, there would be no need; a polite ‘would you keep it down’ will do. However, and a huge, however, it is Hunter and his guyband that is making the noise. I watch as they move across the park, Hunter, Jax, Ashby and Dexter. It’s almost like they should be moving in slow motion. Like they should be on a sexy Pepsi advert.

The girls are literally taking off their sunglasses to check them out. I roll my eyes, push my sunglasses back on and turn back to my work.

“Blondie.” My ears prick up when I hear his voice. I glance over my shoulder and watch him jog away from where his friends are about to sunbathe on the grass and make his way towards me. My eyes are darting over his face and his bare torso. His t-shirt is casually thrown over his shoulder, and he pushes his Ray Bans on to his head. “Come here often?” he winks.

I laugh. “You’re so weird.” I glance back to where his friends are, they’re watching us. “Are you ditching them for me?” my question was playful, but somewhere it came out hopeful.

His grin is infectious. “Baby, I would ditch the goddamn Queen for you. Queen Elizabeth that is, ya know, not Queen B because that would make me crazy.
